We are now taking deposits and reservations for our first ever fundraising cruise.  We are so excited about this as it is an awesome way to raise great funds for our rescue as well as a great way to meet and enjoy other fellow bird lovers in a one of a kind perfect Caribbean setting.  The cruise will be on Carnival Triumph and will be departing from Miami on September 7th, 2008.   We will be stopping at three exciting ports of call:  Cozumel, Mexico; Ocho Rios, Jamaica; and Grand Cayman Island.  For pricing and booking information please go to www.lacystraveltreasures.com and click on upcoming cruises.  We hope to see most of you on this wonderful fundraising adventure.  Bon Voyage!

We are in the process of setting up our annual fundraising auction.  We are hoping to have this the first week of May 2008.  Please help us out by trying to get sponsors and donors to donate items and services to be auctioned off.  We are hoping to make this a huge event and raise a lot of money for the Network.  We are wanting to get as many local and national celebrities involved as possible in hopes of generating more interest, attendance, and ability to raise money.  Big ticket items to auction off are always a great draw too.  So please keep us in mind if you are wanting to get rid of anything of value that we could perhaps auction off.  Let's try to get everybody involved and make this a huge success!!!

We are also looking for ideas and other fund raisers we can have this year to raise money for Healthipet Network.  Please get your minds to working and send us any ideas or thoughts you may have.  We are always looking for fresh ideas and assistance in generating funding for our Network.  Any help we can get is always greatly appreciated.

We are working feverishly on getting our site updated and current now after finally resolving technical problems that were preventing us from adding to our website.   We have begun adding our available birds to the site, along with applications for home checkers and rescues.  We've added more pictures and information.  We still have a long way to go, but please know that we are working on this constantly to get everything as current as possible.  Please bear with us as we work through this.

We have begun putting bios and pictures of our approved Homecheckers on the site now.  Be sure to check them out periodically as we continue to grow.
